About Natalia

Practical English with academic depth.

Background

Natalia Veselova

A teacher with academic depth and a practical eye.

I believe learning English should make your world feel more open—not more confusing or stressful. My role is to help you understand where you are, where you want to go, and what practical steps will take you there.

I bring a PhD in Linguistics, a Level 5 TEFL qualification, and more than twenty years of teaching experience across universities, language schools, and online learning platforms. Over the years, I have worked with adults, teenagers, university students, and exam candidates, from complete beginners to confident C1 learners.

My background allows me to explain how the language works, but lessons are never about theory for its own sake. We may work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, writing, or exam strategy, depending on what you need. I design lessons and materials carefully, so that each activity has a purpose and helps you move towards using English more independently and confidently.

I also create digital and blended-learning materials, including interactive worksheets and thoughtfully designed AI-assisted practice. I am interested in how technology can make learning more flexible and personal—but I believe that good teaching still begins with attention: listening to the learner, noticing what is holding them back, and finding the right way forward.

In my lessons, you have space to think, ask questions, experiment, and make mistakes without pressure. Progress does not always need to be dramatic. It needs to be real, steady, and connected to the life you want to live in English.
